We are no longer receiving wedding gown donations. Our seamstresses have the supplies they need to create the gowns for our hospital and funeral home partners. If you are interested in supporting The Still Remembered Project materially, please see our In-Kind Donations page, which includes our Amazon wish list.
Thank you for caring for your patients that are experiencing this traumatic grief. We appreciate your desire to support them well. A caring, supportive medical team can make all the difference in these heartbreaking moments for a bereaved family.
We partner with hospitals, ultrasound facilities, OBGYN offices, funeral homes, and others that interact with these families grieving the passing of their child. We provide remembrance keepsakes and the invitation to our support group. Our organization operates within the greater Pittsburgh, PA area, Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and West Virginia. We cannot currently supply hospitals outside of that area as our items are not shippable.
If you would like to talk to someone regarding your hospital or medical facility, please reach out to us at info@stillremembered.org.
The Still Remembered Project is an all-volunteer, small nonprofit located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. We depend on personal donations from individuals and families. Here are a few ideas of how you could help us keep this organization going.
Our monthly peer-based support group, Still Supported, is open to all bereaved mothers. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month. We kindly ask for you to register via the form on the Still Supported project page to receive more information and be informed about each month's topic and format.
If you need additional help, please contact stillsupported@stillremembered.org
We would love to send you an item to remember your baby, either a Still Loved memory box or a miscarriage care package. We have a limited supply of keepsakes that we ship within the United States or APO/FPO military addresses. Unfortunately, we are unable ship remembrance keepsakes outside the United States.
We ask that the request for the remembrance keepsake come from the bereaved mother or father. Grief is a complicated emotion, and we found our items are best received whenever their arrival is expected. If you are a friend/family member seeking support for your loved one, please send them a link to our site and have them reach out to us at info@stillremembered.org. We would be happy to work with them to determine how we can help.
To request a Still Loved memory box, send a message to still.loved@stillremembered.org. These are typically for parents who delivered their child.
To request a miscarriage care package, send a message to stillmissed@stillremembered.org. These are sent to parents whose child passed away at less than 15 weeks gestation.
Our events are managed through our Eventbrite page, where you can signup to come to our assembly and crafting nights, remembrance events, and fundraisers.
If you know of an event in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area that would be of interest to our community, please contact us at info@stillremembered.org. We are happy to support other organizations that support the families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death.
Our Stitched with Love project page has the recommendations for the knitted or crocheted items. You will find information on yarn types, colors, size of blanket, and laundering requirements. There are suggested patterns, but you are free to use whatever pattern you would like.
