We Are Still Together

Pregnancy infant loss affects those around us each and every day. For some bereaved families, the loss of a baby is personal, private and may not be not be openly shared. For others, it is very much a journey the family speaks about, while inviting others to stand next to them. They want to express their feelings and be among others that have felt similar pain of losing a baby.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 1 in 4 US women will have a pregnancy infant loss, which includes miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal death. With 25% of the population being affected, The Still Remembered Project feels it is vital we create, and be, Still Together.

Still Together, our community outreach project under The Still Remembered Project, helps support and unite local hospitals, medical professionals, the bereavement community, churches and other pregnancy infant loss organizations to bring awareness and advocacy for pregnancy/infant loss. More specifically, we:

  • Advocate, bring awareness and are dedicated to breaking the silence around pregnancy infant loss.
  • Share the mission of The Still Remembered Project at hospital remembrance events, with bereavement community leaders, and the community at large
  • Provide the bereavement community with resources for families enduring the loss of their baby. Volunteers directly interact with community partners by being the hands and feet of the organization.
  • Host events for bereaved families to remember their babies in addition to community-wide events.
